mothball comics
So recently I've been slogging at a ridiculously slow pace through the task of getting a functional website up and running. One of the things I've been considering is putting some older comics online.

I really don't have many comics online at all, but I've actually been pretty productive in the past four or so years and have made a bunch of comics for print that have just never gotten onto the internet. A lot of them never will, but I've been going through what I have and deciding what I might want to put up.

Likely it'll be stuff from the past year or two rather than anything older, but I did think that maybe I'd put this one up on here at least as it never saw the light of day in print, either. It's a comic that I made three years ago for a submission to the Stick Figure Anthology, and it chronicles my failed attempt at composting in Vancouver.

I'm happy to report that my composting situation in Halifax is the opposite of that in Vancouver, as here not only are there organics/recycle/waste bins all over the streets where regular garbage cans would be, but the city provides big compost bins along with the weekly garbage/recycling pick up, so now we are composting and recycling most of our garbage. Hooray!

I had forgotten how weird and fluffy-looking your hair gets by the end of this comic. My apologies.
I love and miss verb! I am excited for your new digs, I was thinking about it today.

This is adorable! I will have to forward it to my father -- he is the composting king in our family.

we used to have a huge wooden compost bin in our back yard when I was a kid that eventually just turned into a huge wasp's nest.
composting makes me happy, even though it grosses me out at the same time.
